Sukhi Khaira

Another era dawned upon this artist's life when he was introduced to Discreet logic FLAME and FIRE, compositing and editing softwares, in 1996. It was as if he was given a wand and sent to Hogwarts where he could create things beyond his wildest imagination. Since then he never looked back at other products, he ate drank and slept beside these machines, which made him realize his forte in the world of Television and Cinema.

After moving to Winnipeg, Canada in 2012, Sukhi mostly shuffles between Vancouver and Winnipeg from project to project working as Visual Effects Supervisor and Television Producer.

About the Artist

Sukhi Khaira is a hands on practical artist who took to Cinema as soon as he was able to travel to his Dad's office, a Cinematographer then. Throughout his childhood Sukhi developed an appreciation towards the art of Film Making as he would often visit movie sets and stay back at his father's side for hours watching and learning different roles on location during the day and visiting the Steinbeck editing flatbeds later at night. This made it clear for Sukhi that his passion and future was Cinema. Even before he could finish high school, he had started  working alongside his father as a cameraman and assistant Editor.
